These are some #citrusy #spring #desserts which will be published in tomorrow’s 3rd April @thetimesmagazine ! The first one is a #fennel and #grapefruit loaf cake And the second one is a #chocolate, #hazelnut and #lime cheese cake A bit of #citrus does help to freshen and lift the mood in a gorgeous sunny day! Even though lemon and orange are the common choice of citrus, I think their cousins grapefruit and lime have the equal potential. Save the recipes or note them down, as it will be extremely helpful in this month when we are allowed to meet our loved ones in the gardens. The loaf cake transports really well making it essential for #picnics! And if you are looking for a tangy #showstopper with #creamy cheese cake the second one is the perfect choice. Couple of more weekends till that day.. 12th April. I will probably make both and eat myself, if no one of my colleagues come to visit me in the park! Some #royalicing decorated #Easter #biscuits Swipe to see them in a lighter background. Please let me know which one you like better! Today is such a gorgeous day. It is bright and sunny! And a little bit of breeze! So was yesterday. So reciprocated my previous #spring biscuit decorations in some egg shaped biscuits while getting drenched in yesterday's evening sun! Along with some royal icing #daffodils, wisteria, roses and spring foliage there are also some little royal icing eggs. Hopefully you can able to spot them, inside their tiny nests. The daisies are made with fondant and then coloured! To be honest, in a day like today decorating biscuit is an ideal activity even by yourself or with kids! I particularly like the lace decorations for this afternoons. Normally after finishing work at 4pm, I sit down in the sun and make the lace pattern. It is so calming and relaxing. The sun helps to dry it out quicker, so it is an added advantage! Give it a go at biscuit decoration, I can assure you that you will not regret it. Enjoy the lovely weather and soak up as much as you can!
